Biography of Alvin H. Danenberg, DDS
Alvin H. Danenberg was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He received
his dental degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in
1972 and his Specialty Certification in Periodontics from the University
of Maryland School of Graduate Dentistry in 1974. From 1974 through
1976, Dr. Danenberg was Chief of Periodontics at the Charleston Air
Force Base. He left the Air Force in 1976 and opened his own practice
in Charleston limited to periodontics.
Dr. Danenberg has been a member of many dental and periodontal organizations.
Currently, he is an active member of the American Dental Associaton,
American Academy of Periodontology, and the American Academy of Implant
Dentistry.
As an avocation, Dr. Danenberg is also a Certified Financial Planner
professional. He does not have financial clients, but he does lecture
extensively on his unique concepts of investing and has authored
three books on the subject.
Al and his wife Sue have been married since 1969. They have two adult
children and two grandchildren with more on the way!
For fun, Al likes to play racquetball, ride his Trikke, and be "Papa" to
his grandson Jake and grandaughter Jaden.
